Empowering Justice Involved with IT/Tech Training.
Supporting education and innovation.
The OSIBridge program helps people in Washington state re-entry programs improve their computer skills, reading and writing, math, and job skills.
The program aims to help people in re-entry programs get ready for certifications and badges that aide them in pursuing entry-level jobs in IT and tech.
Goals for Training
The OSIBridge program provides simplified technical training, including CompTIA A+ materials to assist participants in their preparation for certification tests. The program also offers tier 2 lessons to help prepare them for Microsoft MOS certifications. This approach ensures participants gain the foundational knowledge needed for entry-level Help Desk or Application support roles.
Training for Life
The OSIBridge program offers more than just technical training; it also provides customized soft skills training to help participants succeed in their careers and daily lives. Just as we tailor education programs for teachers, OSIBridge focuses on developing essential professional traits and mindsets, preparing individuals to thrive both in the workplace and beyond.
Support through Communities
Much like its IT namesake, the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) model, OSIBridge will eventually connect participants with wrap-around services and other organizations that provide training and wrap-around services for those in re-entry.
